Dean Cain's Breakthrough Dramatic Thriller "Lost" Premiers in New York on Wednesday, November 17
SilverCrest Entertainment presents "LOST" a fast paced, haunting, psychological thriller starring Dean Cain, in what is being heralded as a breakthrough performance.
Green Lawn, CA (PRWEB) November 10, 2004 -- Trapped in a maze of endless desert highways, bound by a vital deadline, and pursued by an unseen menace, Jeremy Stanton is about to take the longest ride of his life. He will learn… when you reach the crossroads of life, be careful which way you turn.
“LOST” is a haunting, fast paced thriller starring Dean Cain (Laci Peterson Story, Out of Time, CBS 'Clubhouse'), Danny Trejo (Once Upon A Time in Mexico, Anaconda), Scandinavian film star Irina Bjorklund, Ashley Scott (S.W.A.T.), and Justin Henry (Kramer vs. Kramer & ER).
Dean Cain's role as Jeremy Stanton is a breakthrough achievement and is being touted by the producers as an award winning performance. On accepting the lead role, Cain points out that, "SilverCrest's collective energy was a great motivator when the script was presented to me. I was impressed with the people onboard and I liked how they were positioned to make the film. And of course I liked the story. The Jeremy Stanton character is solid and presents a challenging portrayal".
Dean Cain is highly accomplished, not only as an actor, but as a screenwriter and producer as well. He has produced and appeared in his own television series Off Camera with Dean Cain, and is known to millions of TV viewers world-wide as Clark Kent in the long running tv series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of
Superman. Dean most recently starred in the CBS drama "Clubhouse" opposite Christopher Lloyd and Jeremy Sumpter.
SilverCrest Entertainment (SCE) is a Los Angeles based independent film production company that stealthily made its way onto the scene in 2002 by partnering with some of Hollywood's most dynamic and creative talents. "SCE is a small company, but our impact is significant,” remarks Kevin Matossian, Founder, CEO,
and Producer at SilverCrest. "Right out of the gate we are a formidable contender because we can efficiently converge our ideas into marketable films", affirms Matossian. For film making, care and attention to the creative process, and the bottom line are convergent pursuits. SilverCrest is determined to break the mold of
the small independent and make it happen.
"LOST" is the perfect example. It's a great story from Screenwriter/Director, Darren Lemke. Darren has been writing screenplays since he was thirteen.
Kevin Matossian is both the CEO of SilverCrest Entertainment and producer of “LOST.” “The first time I read ‘LOST’ I couldn’t put it down,” said Kevin, “I remember sitting in a coffee shop in LA turning page after page and actually feeling nervous and stressed for the main character… that’s when I knew that I wanted to make this film”
A year later Kevin’s instinct, Darren’s vision, and Dean’s performance have seen “LOST” progress from script to screen. Being touted as a “must see” by theater goers from its LA premier, “LOST” is sure to be found and enjoyed by audiences worldwide.
SilverCrest Entertainment is based in Los Angeles and currently has three films slated for production in 2005.
